Surface nutrient and chlorophyll analyses were performed on samples collected on board commercial container ships from April 2009 through December 2012. Samples were collected from the underway seawater system during basin-wide transects of the North Pacific Ocean while traversing from Hong Kong to Long Beach, California. For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'.
