Abstract
Turbulent microstructure profiles were collected near Milwaukee, WI, during 2018 between April 5 – April 20, 2018 at a 55m depth site. Microstructure measurements were collected using an RSI MicroCTD (Rockland Scientific International, Inc.), which measures velocity shear, temperature, turbidity, and chlorophyll concentrations. High resolution velocity shear (512 Hz) measurements were used to estimate turbulent kinetic energy dissipation throughout the water column. Microstructure profiles were collected during fair weather conditions on April 5th, 12th, and 20th.
For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'. The most current version of this dataset is available at: https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/768011
