Abstract
The BIOS Tudor Hill Marine Atmospheric Observatory (THMAO) has been supported by the NSF Chemical Oceanography and Atmospheric Chemistry Programs following a major refit in 2003. Since that time it has provided a unique research facility for the scientific community. The specific objectives are:
1) To operate and maintain a state-of-the-art marine atmospheric sampling and observing facility at Tudor Hill, Bermuda, available for use by the wider U.S. and international research community;
2) To continue the collection of continuous meteorological data and weekly bulk-aerosol and rainwater samples, which will be archived at BIOS and made freely available to other researchers;
3) To collect additional atmospheric samples and data for other investigators (primarily in longer-term time-series programs), and to provide for the use of the facility in person by other investigators (primarily in shorter-term intensive programs).
For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'. The most current version of this dataset is available at: https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/731478
