Abstract
Bottlenecks in the early life-history stages of corals can shape community composition across reefs. We used photographic surveys and the deployment of tiles to capture recruit, juvenile, and adult corals at 7 sites across Palau. Photographic surveys were undertaken using two methods: a qualitative biodiversity survey (2021–2022) and quantitative transects (2023). This dataset includes the results from the quantitative transects.
For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'. The most current version of this dataset is available at: https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/926379
