dc.description.abstract | This is a status report for the period 1 May to 31 October 1967 for Contract Nonr-4029(00) with the Office of Naval Research. Investigations of this contract include oceanic acoustics, physical oceanography, sea floor properties, and advisory activities. Acoustic, geophysical, and oceanographic cruises by R/V ATLANTIS II, GOSNOLD, ALVIN, and LULU in the North Atlantic Ocean and Baltic Sea are described. Continuing analyses of acoustical and geophysical data are discussed; papers, reports and technical memoranda written during this period are listed. | en_US |
