Abstract
67Zn and 110Cd tracer uptake experiments were conducted along the Amundsen Sea and Ross Sea shelves during the 2017-2018 CICLOPS expedition in order to quantify the movement of dissolved Zn and Cd into the phytoplankton particulate fraction (>3μm). Variations in these uptake rates with depth and time were examined to draw conclusions regarding the relative demand of these trace metals within the native phytoplankton bloom. For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'.
