The Scientific program for W-38 included several diverse projects. These
projects are outlined below, and preliminary results are given. Following the
narrative section of this report are summaries of the scientific logs, station lists
and positions, trackline plots and sighting estimates for the humpback whale
census work, and the completed Gulf Stream profile.
