Sediment core samples were sectioned and analyzed for mineral grain size, organic carbon and nitrogen, stable isotopic composition, pigments, plus sediment alkane and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Contact: bco-dmo-data@whoi.edu, 2021-03-05) Liu, Zhanfei ; Hardison, Amber ; Xue, JianhongThe impact of Hurricane Harvey on the chemical composition of water was assessed using samples collected from June 2017 to March 2019 at Mission-Aransas Estuary in south Texas. Hydrographic measurements including temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and pH were collected on site using a YSI sonde. Water samples were obtained from both surface and bottom depths at 19 sites, and later analyzed for dissolved nutrients, organic carbon and nitrogen, and pigments.
