Hand drawn sketches pencil of cells and embryos along with with hand written notes Hand drawn sketches of neurulation in an amphibian (possibly xenopus). Holtfreter has sketched a dorsal view of the entire embryo, as well as several sketches of differently shaped cells surrounding the neural folds of the developing neural groove.
