dc.description.abstract The United States Congressional Serial Set contains a wide variety of historical documents relating to natural resources and their history in the United States. It is an excellent resource for those researching historical data concerning fisheries, from extant species and ecology to economic issues. Information on resources outside the United States is also available due to the U.S. history of explorations and expansions. Charts, maps and tables are found within many of the papers and reports. There are also numerous scientific illustrations. en_US
