Description
Correspondence consisting of one page typescript letter on Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution letterhead and two page handwritten letter, with enclosed article titled “TITANIC Book Mystery Solved, But Watch is Still On” from the Worcester Telegram newspaper, describing the TITANIC Omar. The TITANIC Omar is a unique fine book binding designed and executed by Scott Kellar in 2002 and captured in a book titled “Lost on the TITANIC: The Story of the Great Omar a jeweled binding of the Ruba’iyat of Omar Khayyam bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in 1911”.
