A listing and full documentation is presented for a FORTRAN computer program
which computes the dispersion curves and across-shelf modal structures
of free coastal-trapped waves in a coastal channel. The three velocity
components, mass transport streamfunction, and density and pressure perturbation
fields are .computed. The solution procedure used (horizontal finite
differences on a staggered grid and an expansion in the vertical in terms of
modified Chebyshev polynomials) makes the solution compatible (without
interpolation) with the numerical scheme employed in the Haidvogel et al.
(1988) primitive equation ocean circulation model.

A computer program for the design and static analysis of single-point subsurface mooring systems : NOYFB
Moller, Donald A. (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, 1976-06)This report describes computer program NOYFB, a method of determining the static configuration of sub-surface oceanographic moorings for the purposes of system design and analysis of performance. The program is written ... -
A computer program for grain-size data
Schlee, John Stevens; Webster, Jacqueline (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, 1965-08)The computer program presented here seeks to improve estimation of statistical parameters for grain-size data by use of interpolated values. Interpolation is made by fitting a series of overlapping parabolas to the data, ... -
Programs for computing properties of coastal-trapped waves and wind-driven motions over the continental shelf and slope
Brink, Kenneth H.; Chapman, David C. (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, 1985-04)Documentation and listings are presented for a sequence of computer programs to be used for problems in continental shelf dynamics. Three of the programs are to be used for computing properties of free and forced coas ...
