ALVIN 522 Dive 522 The runtime for this video is 04m 53s. Alvin dive 522 took place on July 04, 1974 during voyage LU-70. The Chief Scientist was J. Heirtzler in the operating area of Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The HOV reached a depth of 522 meters. The purpose was described as 'FAMOUS GEOLOGY' and the sponsor as 'NOAA'.
