Dissolved Ba, Cd, Cu, Ga, Mn, Ni, and V concentration data from the US GEOTRACES Arctic Expedition (GN01, HLY1502) from August to October 2015. Clean seawater samples were collected using a GEOTRACES CTD referred to as GT-C/12L GoFlo. Additional near surface samples were collected using either a small boat or through the ice using Teflon coated Tygon tubing and a trace metal clean pump (IWAKI, model WMD-30LFY-115). This dataset also includes selected stable Ba isotope analyses. For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'. Particulate multi-element geochemical concentrations, dissolved barium concentrations and barium-isotopic data collected during the R/V Blue Heron cruise BH15-11 in Lake Superior during August 2015 Horner, Tristan J.; Ricketts, Richard D.; Pryer, Helena V. (Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO). Contact: email@example.com, 2017-02-03)Particles are important vectors of nutrients, carbon, and several trace metals within large bodies of water. Broadly speaking, particle distributions can be classified into three major groups on the basis of their multi-element ...
Seiwell, Harry Richard (Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, 1937-05)With the advance in knowledge of oceanic circulation there now exists a demand for additional identifying properties which will serve to trace the origin and movements of water masses in the sea, and to check earlier ...
Iron concentrations of phage from experiments of iron-labelled E. coli infected with T4 and T5 bacteriophage, 2018 and 2019. Breitbart, Mya; Buck, Kristen N.; Bonnain, Chelsea; Caprara, Salvatore (Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO). Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org, 2020-01-27)This data was collected as part of a study investigating the source of iron to bacteriophage (phage for short, or viruses that infect and kill bacteria) progeny. Evidence from a phage that infects E. coli shows iron ...
