Abstract
Experimental corals were artificially damaged using a waterpik with lesion centroids separated by 1.2cm and 3.5cm, and then dyed with Alizarin S. After 1 year, corals were bisectioned, photographed and linear extension measured using Image J at each polyp’s growth lines. For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'.
