Stochastic Dominance Test (MATLAB and R Code)

Abstract

This is a MATLAB function which can be run as a .m file. It takes locational data (x), with associated abundances (ax) at those locations from one time period and locational data (y), with associated abundance (ay) at those locations from a later time period and tests for stochastic dominance of the distribution of the data (y,ay) to that of the data (x,ax).
