The supplementary files XCTD_latitude,  XCTD_longitude, XCTD_pressure, XCTD_salinity, and XCTD_temp contain the binned temperature, salinity and pressure data for the 8 expendable CTD cast taken from the helicopter as discussed in the text. 

Each profile has been binned into regular 1 dbar bins (pressures in the XCTD_pressure.csv). The XCTD_latitude and XCTD_longitude files give the coordinates of each of the profiles in the XCTD_salinity and XCTD_temp files. The format is csv, which each ‘column’ representing a station, and the ‘rows’ representing a pressure grid point.
