The introductory text includes a detailed description of the radar-derived accumulation rate measurement errors. The raw and model-fit depth-density profiles are plotted in Figure S1. Figure S2 contains a plot showing the relative importance of error sources by depth. To show the quality of the radar-derived accumulation rates, we compare the accumulation record from the PIG2010 core site and the radar records co-located with the core in Figure S3. The last four figures (Figures S4-S7) contain more localized analyses of the coherence of the accumulation observations (radar and core) and models. These figures indicate our results are nearly identical when considering a more localized area (rather than regional), confirming our results. 1. 2013GL056340-SOM.pdf Contains all supplementary text and figures.
