Title: Dynamic analysis of a launch and recovery system for a deep submersible
Author: Vandiver, J. Kim
Abstract: An analysis of the motion of a docking platform for a deep submersible is presented. The problem is defined as a docking platform, or cradle, suspended beneath a surface vessel by elastic elements, composed of cable, chain, or similar material. The analysis attempts to predict the motion of the cradle in response to sinusoidal motion of the surface vessel.
