Supplementary.pdf contains examples of microearthquake event waveforms, which range from nearly monochromatic to more complex waveshapes and frequency contents that could conceivably contain an S-wave arrival.  Waveforms lacking the frequency content that could conceivable contain an S-wave arrival are more representative of the catalog, describing ~90% of events.
