Introduction The auxiliary material consists of tables which contain foraminiferal trace element ratios from ODP Site 1090 that are presented in this manuscript. All measurements were made by ICP-MS at the University of Cambridge as described in the paper. Table S1 contains U/Ca and Mn/Ca ratios of Uvigerina spp., G. inflata, and G. bulloides used in Figures 2 to 5.
