Introduction This supplemental dataset consists of mineral major element compositions for abyssal peridotites in this study. Major element analyses are presented for clinopyroxene, orthopyroxene, olivine, spinel and plagioclase. Analytical techniques are described in Appendix A. 1. 2008jb006186-ds01.xls Mineral major element data for clinopyroxene, orthopyroxene, olivine, spinel, and plagioclase, in an Excel spreadsheet. The data are also provided as individual, tab-delimited text files.
